BOAT...
The boat is a 29 foot, Rigid Aluminum Inflatable Hull Zodiac. Built by Titan Inflatables Limited, manufacturer of world class aluminum inflatable rigid hull (RHIBS), and fixed hull vessels for Search and Rescue, Fire, Police, Patrol, Pleasure, and Whale Watching. This boat is built for the North Coast and its seas. They are the industry standard and the safest on the ocean. The Curiosity is a 12 passenger vessel powered by Twin Mercury Optimax which can safely reach speeds up to 50 miles per hour. All passengers are provided with waterproof cruiser suits for their safety and protection from the elements. Also for passengers, we have the comfort of an on board washroom facility. The boat is equipped with Radar, GPS, Sounder, VHF marine radio, Emergency VHF hand held, Hydrophone (underwater Microphone) and all the necessary emergency equipment approved by Transport Canada.






I started this business so I can share the experiences of living on the North Coast. It's amazing to be able to give people the opportunity to see some of natures most spectacular sights such as a breaching humpback whales or a pod of Killer whales feeding on salmon. These are things you will never forget.

 My name is Troy Leighton. I'm a full-time Fire Fighter for the City of Prince Rupert. I've lived in the beautiful North Coast all my life. I'm married to my high school sweetheart and we have two beautiful children. As a Fire Fighter I hold a First Responder Level III certificate, as well as numerous other First Aid Qualifications.
I grew up working in and around the fishing industry so I have many years of experience in the surrounding area. I hold a Master Limited, Marine Advanced First Aid, Restricted Radio Marine Emergency Duties A2 and Marine Fire Fighting Awareness Level and Marina Operations Certificates.
